Cruse at Stormont

Recently or so, The N.Ireland MLA Brenda
Hale invited us and individually to Stormont
for our participation with Cruse bereavement for
young people. We (journeyfor) did creative
workshops with them as part of the course. 

It was pretty much an event summing the the end 

and the success of the programme and so on. 

But actually was really great. We saw some of 

the kids we knew give big speeches in front of like

 a hundred people, it was pretty amazing.

I was exploring Belfast today on the bike,
lots of streets and parks and nooks
I've never been before or properly anyway
and Belfast is amazing.
The fact that it's autumn and sunny may have
helped but still, forget Paris.

A person I hate, said a long time ago
"what's the point in travelling, If you haven't
travelled your own country properly?"
or something like that.
It's true, how else would you know the difference?

I agreed with him then and I still agree.

It's Kabu Kabu

Was given the manuscript for the book the other day.

I finally get to read it. 

It's strange for me seeing my name there.

Feel very special.

Comes out in October. I really can't wait to see it.

I taught my cousin how to mix her favourite colour pink today and it's probably the most satisfying arty thing I've done this year.

Day of peace

Having the best day I've had in a long while.

First day at uni, I made some friends, normal good day at work, chilled with the my restaurant ones, had my tea cooked for me, just chilling in my mates house and he's cooking me dinner now. 

Not an Epic day of a days like, just balanced and just good. Not even a drink. I've had complete peace today, no worries of the past or for the future, which is rare for anyone,  it's difficult to control like lets be honest. I have mine today. 

I know it will change soon, but I don't care.

Belfast culture night launch

Journeyfor was invited to the launch of the Belfast culture night
 at the Hudson yard, because were taking part again this year.
but everyone was really busy so Me and Robbie went down hah,
we just pretended to be the directors.






It was pretty cool. Lots of cool people were there from Belfast.
All my favourite buskers, lord mayor of Belfast (he's hilarious),
lots of utv presenters, seen Terri Hooley and lots of ceo's of
all the major creative companies in Belfast, (everyone I'll likely
work with the rest of my life was probably there.)

Culture night, it's on the 20th , 

It's more or less the biggest event in Belfast, it's just like half the city 

gets taken over for crazy 'art-y' shizz. 

Last year it was everything from local bands playing out of salons, derelict buildings 

turned into instillations, street drawing, the best art exhibitions in the museums, 

workshops for kids where you make like a ten foot statue, even a mucha lucha 

wrestling ring outside neros and more and more. I couldn't even take it all in at once 

until after.

That's my favourite thing about creativity, it isn't doing it 

as much as having fun with other people with it, bringing people 

together and all that shit. I get really passionate and gay about it.

There's no better feeling than inspiring people and being inspired.

Okay Johnney.. 

But honestly, the amount the value for me exerted on a night like this, 

is unmeasurable.My dream job, would probably be, to be the guy 

organising all this.

That's our slot. 71. be there.

And actually thats the same night I move to Belfast. Wow.
