I found these cool photographs from belgian photographer Frieke Janssens.  I wonder are we that much like children, we do bad things to ourselves, to get attention?  or because we really  just like it?. Ask yourselves... i am!

We were talking about this today in work actually, binary opposition. Holding the bad up against the good, and how the whole thing is beautiful.

I wrote and illustrated this for uni there in England and like its inspired by the home sickness I had. About this rad girl, who thought home is shit and so wants to leave. Soon though she finds this owl mask and she puts it on. And it makes her see differently. She realises what her home means to her and then.. right?... She gets on her plane and leaves. 

Because I really do hate happy endings, they are so boring don't you think?
